How To Create A Macro In Excel 2007

First of all, we need to "record" a macro, which can be done by using the Developer tab in the ribbon and clicking on the "Record Macro" option on the left. This will enable a prompt to pop up, like the one shown below in the screenshot; give a name to the macro and click on "OK".

Next, we need to write down the headings of an excel sheet; it would be a good idea to make them prominent by using colored font, painting the interior of the cells, center aligning the text etc. After having done that, click on the "Stop Recording" button on the top left corner, after we're done with designing the macro.

After having done that, move to another sheet and "run" the macro. What we need to do is to click on the "Macro" icon; it will display what is illustrated in the screenshot above. Select the macro which we had saved before (i.e."Macro1") and "run" it.

Here we go! This can be done on any number of sheets.
